What the “intimate area” actually includes — and in how many minutes
At OZ Clinic the price is set by the actual treatment time, not by the name of an “area”. So each area has its own number of minutes — and you can put together exactly what you want. Please arrive shaved: the shaving counts inside the treatment time, so if we shave here the visit moves up to the next time tier.
Groin · Bikini line
The outer line you see in a swimsuit — the most requested area, and usually the first one to start with.
Pubic area
The inner front section. Partial shaping or full removal — you decide exactly where the line goes.

How long does a treatment in the intimate area take?
The laser itself is about 15 minutes for the whole area, when you arrive shaved. If we shave here, the shaving counts inside the treatment time and the visit moves up to the next time tier. Afterwards there is a private shower and towels. In practice, allow between half an hour and an hour for the visit.

Do I need to arrive shaved?
Yes — and that is what keeps the price where it is. The shaving counts inside the treatment time, so when you arrive shaved the whole area fits into 15 minutes and ₪250. Prefer us to shave here? We can — but the visit gets longer and moves up to the next time tier. Use a trimmer up to a few hours before, or a razor about 24 hours before (it cuts below the skin surface and the hair needs time to come out). Throughout the series, shaving only — no waxing, threading or tweezing.
My hair is light or fine — will it work?
What decides it is the contrast between the hair and the skin, not the colour on its own. White hair does not respond to laser — on any device. For light or fine hair the Advance Titanium has a dedicated wavelength — 940 nanometres — that single-wavelength devices do not have. At the assessment we scan with a dermatoscope and tell you honestly what to expect, before you start.

I am pregnant or breastfeeding — can I?
No. During pregnancy and breastfeeding we do not treat — hormonal change and heightened skin sensitivity. A series you started earlier is not lost: your personal plan is kept and you continue from the same point after the birth. Talk to us and we will arrange it.

From what age do you treat?
From age 18 only. Younger than that the hair is still affected by hormonal change, and a result achieved too early may not hold — meaning you would pay for a series that has to be repeated. At the assessment we build a realistic plan based on your hair type and the area.
How many treatments you really need →
Can I have laser in summer or after a tan?
Yes — a tan is not a problem, a burn is. After a few days in the sun, wait 3-4 days; after a burn, until the peeling has passed. The four wavelengths allow adjustment for a darker tone too, and the dermatoscope at the assessment is what decides — not an estimate by eye.

Can I have a treatment during my period?
Yes — we treat as normal, and there is no problem with it at all. Your period does not affect how the laser works or the result, and there is no reason to postpone an appointment because of it — not even mid-series, so the intervals stay on track. The treatment is done in a fully private room with the door closed, and there is a private shower and towels on site.

Does it hurt?
No. Most women describe pleasant warmth and a light tingle — not plucking, not burning. The technology is SHR: short low-power pulses instead of one strong pulse, while the head cools the skin continuously down to minus 41°. Even women who came after a painful experience elsewhere are surprised.

What do I do after the treatment?
Usually nothing beyond mild redness that passes within hours. 24 hours without strenuous exercise; 72 hours without high heat — sauna, jacuzzi, direct sun — and without acids or retinol. The one thing that is recommended: unscented aloe vera gel. If anything lasts more than a day or feels unusual, call us — we are here.

Why do I get stubble and ingrown hairs — and does laser solve it?
Shaving cuts the hair at a sharp angle just below the skin surface, so it grows back prickly and sometimes gets trapped under the skin. Laser targets the follicle itself, so fewer hairs come back and fewer of those are ingrown. In the intimate area, which spends all day under clothing, this is usually the first improvement you feel.

Who performs the treatment?
A certified female therapist. Always. At OZ Clinic every treatment for a woman is performed by a female therapist — including in the intimate area — and you do not need to ask for it or arrange it in advance. The treatment is done in a fully private room with the door closed, and you can stop at any moment without explaining.
