It combines three technologies: four wavelengths firing in parallel, an ICE cooling system, and an AI sensor that reads the skin in real time. That combination matters especially for women, because women’s hair varies far more — coarse in the bikini area and underarms, fine and light on the face and abdomen, and sometimes shaped by hormones.
Why four wavelengths matter specifically for women
A single-wavelength device works well on coarse dark hair and struggles with everything else. The Advance Titanium works at 755, 808, 940 and 1064 nanometres in parallel: the shorter wavelengths catch fine, light hair close to the surface, and the long NIR reaches the deep root of coarse hairs. On the face, the abdomen and the lower back — where women’s hair tends to be fine and downy — that is exactly the difference between a treatment that works and one that disappoints.
ICE cooling and the AI sensor — why it is comfortable and safe
The ICE system cools the skin to minus 41° in real time — the laser reaches the root of the hair while the surface of the skin stays cool. At the same time the AI sensor checks skin tone, hair thickness and follicle density on every pass and tunes the pulse energy. In the sensitive areas — bikini, underarms, face — that is what makes the treatment comfortable and safe.
Light, red and white hair — the precise answer
What matters is the contrast between the hair colour and the skin colour, not the hair colour on its own. Dark hair on light skin is the easy case; light or red hair responds less and needs more sessions, and thanks to the four wavelengths it does respond. White hair does not respond at all — it has no melanin to absorb the beam, and that is the truth even when it is the less comfortable one. Hormones, PCOS and facial hair
Facial hair in women is sometimes driven by hormonal balance — polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), thyroid conditions, pregnancy or menopause. Laser reduces the existing hair permanently, but does not change your hormones — so with an active hormonal condition you may need more frequent maintenance sessions. That is not a failure of the treatment — it is physiology, and we say so in advance.
The areas women ask for most
The three that come back most often: full legs, underarms and the full intimate area — together about 28 minutes of laser, one visit. Many add full arms, or face and upper lip. Other popular areas: décolletage and chest, lower back, buttocks and gluteal cleft, eyebrows and between the brows, neck and nape. Bikini, Brazilian and full intimate — what is the difference
These terms confuse everyone, and here the price is set by time and not by a name, so let us simplify: the bikini line is what shows outside your swimwear. Full intimate covers the groin, pubic area, anus and buttocks — about 15 minutes of laser. You can build any combination in between, and nobody pays for an area she is not treating. How many sessions, and how long it takes
A full series is about 12 sessions, usually 9–18, and each session removes roughly 30% of the hair. The gaps widen as less hair is left to catch: the first three every month, sessions 4–6 every two months, 7–12 every three months, and after that maintenance every 4–6 months. What it feels like after the treatment
After the very first session the hair weakens and sheds within about 10 days, and after three most women report smooth skin. Side effects are minimal: light redness or a local feeling of warmth that passes within hours. There is no recovery time — you go straight back to your day. We recommend avoiding sauna, pools and direct sun for about two days.
Pregnancy, breastfeeding and age
During pregnancy and breastfeeding we do not treat — not because harm has been proven, but because there is not enough research and this is the right caution. A series that started earlier can be resumed after the birth. Treatment is from age 18 only: younger than that the hair is still affected by hormonal change and the result will not hold.
Your period — can you be treated?
Yes, there is no medical reason not to. Some women feel more sensitive on those days, mainly in the intimate area, and prefer to book on others. In the intimate area we ask that you do not arrive wearing a tampon. Either way — it is your call, and an appointment can be moved at no cost.
Summer, sea and tanning
Tanned is not a problem — burnt is. After a long stretch in the sun it is worth giving it 3–4 days, and after a burn, waiting until the peeling has passed. The AI sensor reads your skin tone and adjusts, and the dermoscope at the diagnosis is what actually decides. Winter is the convenient time to start a series — less sun, and your skin is ready exactly in time for next summer.
Why laser beats waxing, epilation and shaving
Waxing and epilation pull the hair out at the root and it comes back within 3–4 weeks, often with ingrown hairs and irritation. Shaving comes back within a couple of days. Ingrown hairs, irritation and pigmentation
One of the most common reasons women come to us is not the hair itself but what shaving does to the skin: ingrown hairs in the bikini area, dark spots under the arms, recurring irritation. When the hair stops growing the cause disappears, and the skin recovers over a few months. That is an aesthetic consideration no less important than the hair itself.
Tips before and after
Before: arrive shaved — a trimmer up to a few hours before, a razor about 24 hours before. No cream or deodorant on the treated area, and no tanning for about two weeks before. After: straight back to your routine; avoid sauna, pools and direct sun for about two days, and keep the skin moisturised. If you did not get around to shaving — we shave here, and it is included in the price.
What it costs — a transparent model
The price is set by treatment time, so you pay only for what is treated: 15 min = ₪250, 30 = ₪350, 45 = ₪450, 60 = ₪550, with a minimum order of ₪250. Common myths
Myth: laser thins the skin — it acts on the follicle only. Myth: it hurts terribly — with ICE cooling the treatment is barely felt. Myth: it cannot be done on dark skin — 1064 nm and the cooling solve that. Myth: the hair comes back exactly as it was — this is permanent reduction, and what does come back is noticeably finer and lighter.

My hair is light or fine — will it work?
What decides is the contrast between the hair and the skin, not the colour on its own. White hair does not respond to laser — on any device. For light or fine hair the Advance Titanium has a dedicated wavelength — 940 nanometres — that single-wavelength devices do not have. At the diagnosis we scan with a dermoscope and tell you honestly what to expect, before you start.
I am pregnant or breastfeeding — can I be treated?
No. During pregnancy and breastfeeding we do not treat — hormonal change and heightened skin sensitivity. A series you started earlier is not lost: your personal plan is kept and you continue from the same point after the birth. Talk to us and we will arrange it.
From what age do you treat?
From age 18 only. Younger than that the hair is still affected by hormonal change, and a result achieved too early may not hold — meaning you would pay for a series that has to be repeated. At the diagnosis we build a realistic plan around your hair type and the area.
Can I have laser in summer, or after a tan?
Yes — tanned is not a problem, burnt is. After a few days in the sun it is worth waiting 3–4 days; after a burn, until the peeling has passed. The four wavelengths let us adapt to a darker tone too, and the dermoscope at the diagnosis is what decides — not an estimate by eye.
Does it hurt?
No. Most women describe pleasant warmth and a light tingle — not plucking and not burning. The technology is SHR: short, low-energy pulses instead of one strong pulse, while the handpiece cools the skin continuously to minus 41°. Even someone who arrives after a painful experience elsewhere is surprised.

How do I prepare for the treatment?
Arrive shaved — with a trimmer up to a few hours before, with a razor about 24 hours before (it cuts below the surface and the hair needs time to come out). Throughout the series, shaving only: no wax, thread or tweezers. On the day, no creams, deodorant or make-up on the area. Did not get around to it? We shave here — included in the price, but it comes out of your visit time.
What do I do after the treatment?
Usually nothing beyond light redness that passes within hours. 24 hours without strenuous exercise; 72 hours without high heat — sauna, jacuzzi, direct sun — and without acids or retinol. The one thing we do recommend: unscented aloe vera gel. If anything lasts more than a day or feels unusual — call us, we are here.

Who performs the treatment?
A certified female therapist. Always. At OZ Clinic every treatment for a woman is done by a female therapist — the intimate area included — and there is nothing to ask for or arrange in advance. The treatment takes place in a completely private room behind a closed door, and you can stop at any moment without explaining.
Do you photograph the treated area?
No. At no stage — not before, not after, not for tracking. Our records are written only, in a personal file. There are no “before and after” photos of clients on the site or on social media, and we will not ask your permission for any.
