01Who is responsible for your information
The owner of the database and the party responsible for its use is OZ Clinic — Laser Hair Removal, 3 HaRosh St. (corner of 46 Derech Shlomo), Tel Aviv-Yafo.
Phone: 050-723-7230 · Email: [email protected]
02What information we collect
Information you give us:
- Identifying and contact details — name, phone number, email address.
- Health information needed in order to carry out the treatment — skin type, sensitivities, medication, pregnancy and treatment history.
- Appointment details, preferences and correspondence between us (including WhatsApp and text messages).
Information collected automatically as you browse the site:
- IP address, device type and browser.
- The pages you visited, how long you stayed and the source you arrived from.
03Do you have to give it to us?
You are under no legal obligation to give us information, and doing so depends on your wish and your consent. That said, without some of the details — and above all the health information — we will not be able to book you an appointment or carry out the treatment safely.
04Why we use your information
- To provide the service, book appointments and tailor the treatment.
- To contact you about appointments, reminders and enquiries you have made.
- For accounting, billing and meeting our obligations under the law.
- To improve the service and the experience of using the site.
- To send you updates and offers — only if you have agreed to it (see section 7).
05Medical and health information
Health information is information of particular sensitivity. It is collected from you directly, is used by us solely in order to tailor the treatment and keep it safe, is held separately with access limited to the treating staff alone, and is neither used for marketing or advertising purposes nor passed to advertisers.
06Cookies and measurement tools
The site uses cookies and third-party measurement tools, among them:
- Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager — to measure traffic and understand how the site is used.
- Google Ads — to measure campaign performance and to show advertisements on other sites (remarketing).
- Cookies necessary for running the site and remembering language preferences.
The information these tools collect is statistical and does not include medical information. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; blocking them may impair parts of the site.
07Marketing messages
We will send you marketing messages — by text, WhatsApp or email — only if you have given your consent, and in accordance with section 30A of the Communications (Telecommunications and Broadcasting) Law, 5742-1982. You may ask to be removed from the mailing list at any moment — by replying to a message you received or by contacting us — and we will stop immediately.
08Sharing information with third parties
We do not sell and we do not rent your information. We may pass information on only in these cases:
- To service providers who help us operate (client and appointment management, website hosting, mailing, bookkeeping) — and then only to the extent required and subject to a duty of confidentiality.
- Where we are obliged to do so by law or by a court order.
- In order to protect our rights in the event of a legal dispute.
Some of these service providers operate outside Israel, and in such a case the information may be held on servers outside Israel.
09Information security
We take accepted security measures to protect the information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction, among them encryption in transit, restricted access permissions and working procedures with the staff. That said, no digital transmission or storage system is completely secure.
10How long we keep your information
We keep the information for as long as it is needed for the purposes for which it was collected, and after that for the period required by law (for example record-keeping obligations and limitation periods). Information that is no longer needed is deleted or made anonymous.
11Your rights
Under the Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, you have the following rights:
- The right of access — to inspect the information held about you.
- The right to correction — to ask that information which is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date be corrected.
- The right to erasure — to ask that the information be deleted, subject to retention obligations that apply to us by law.
- The right to withdraw consent — to withdraw your consent to marketing messages at any time.
To exercise these rights, contact us by email at [email protected] or by phone on 050-723-7230. We will respond to your request as soon as we can.
12Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any change will be published on this page, and the date it was last updated appears at the top of the page.
